Additional Features

Motion-Triggered Siren

The internal 110 db Siren is triggered when the device is locked and movement is detected for more than 6 seconds. Once the siren is triggered, it will run for 30 seconds, and then automatically turn off.

The Motion-triggered siren feature can be enabled or disabled via a configurable setting on the Fleetview dashboard or in the retail mobile app. There are three available tone settings, which are demonstrated here.

Note: By default, the Motion-Triggered Siren is disabled for LINKA GO usage

Audible Tones

Audible tones can indicate the state of the lock:

When pogo charger is connected

Two short beeps - low/high

Cap sense press

When cap touch is pressed

Tether

  1. When tether is inserted, indicates the tether is attached

  2. When unlocking the lock, indicates the tether is released

  3. After unlocked, indicates the tether is still attached even though it has been released. This tone repeats every 10 seconds until the tether has been detached.

Three short beeps - low/mid/high

Error

  1. Stall event - When locking the device, but locking ring hits an obstruction and retracts

  2. Movement while locking - A lock command was sent but the lock was in motion

  3. Tether detached - After inserting the tether, the tether was detached before the locking mechanism engagement could complete

Two short beeps - high/low

Wakeup

Lock is asleep. The lock is woken up by pressing the cap touch button

Two beeps - low/high

PAC

Hold cap touch button for 4 seconds. Lock enters PAC mode with a tone - med/low/high Enter the PAC code into the lock. After each digit, a low/high tune sounds

Lock Warning

  1. Timed auto-lock is about to be triggered. The tone sounds before locking begins

  2. Remote Lock command is sent to the device. The tone sounds before locking begins

Oscillating high-low - medium volume, 10 second duration

Motion-triggered Siren

• Audio setting selects the siren tone, if enabled

• Device is locked, and motion occurs for more than 6 seconds

• Siren will sound for 25 seconds and turn off automatically

Tone 1 - Fast oscillating siren

Tone 2 - Steady siren

Tone 3 - Slow oscillating siren

Sleep Timer

By default, Locks will go to sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity to improve battery performance. To awaken the Lock, either press the Multifunction button, or shake the Bike. The Sleep Timer can be adjusted in Fleetview in Settings.

LED

Cellular Connectivity and GPS Tracking

Depending on Fleet Settings, a Lock uses cellular connectivity during:

  • Theft Alert to send location data when locked

  • A Lock or Unlock event to send location and battery data

  • During a Periodic Ping

  • Constantly when in Remote Connected Mode which facilitates Remote Commands.

Firmware Updates

With the Operator App connected to a Lock, go to Settings; the App will signal if the Lock needs to be updated. To update the Lock firmware, click the link and follow the on screen instructions.

Lock Reset

To reboot the device, hold the Cap Sense for 10 seconds until the LED light turns off
