Fleetview Walkthrough
(1) Fleetview - Fleetview can be accessed here: http://fleetview.linkalock.com The recommended browsers are Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
(2) Sign In - Enter credentials to sign in to Fleetview. The credentials are the same as those used to sign in to LINKA GO and Operator App.
Fleetview Access
LINKA Fleetview access is granted on opening an account with LINKA. Use the Sign-In credentials supplied by email from LINKA. Administrators can then create accounts and grant access to other employees at one of the 4 levels available according to the needs and role of the User.
Note: These same credentials can be used to sign in to LINKA GO and the Operator App.
User Permissions:
Administrator – Full access to view and make changes
Maintenance – View all and make changes to Maintenance only
Viewer – View only, cannot make changes
API – Has access to the Default Lock Settings
To see a list of Users/Admins, add users, and edit permissions, go to:
Settings > Permissions
Signing into the Fleetview Dashboard
Use the credentials received either directly from LINKA or your Administrator to sign in to Fleetview at: https://fleetview.LINKAlock.com.
Fleetview opens to the Dashboard – Select a Fleet if that is an option.
Bikes currently registered to the Fleet are shown in map-view, and in the menus to the left side of the screen. Note: Bikes are added to the Fleet using the Operator App. See page 28.
On the map, use the ‘+’ button to zoom-in and view individual Bikes. Bikes are indicated with the following icons:
– Available for Rental. – Rented. – Lost. – Low Battery Warning – Unavailable for Rental/Maintenance Mode. – Alert
5. Click on an Icon to see details for that Bike.
(1) Map - Shows the location of each bike in the fleet. (2) Selected Bike - The larger pin indicates the selected bike. The information of this bike is
shown on the information bar.
(3) Bike Number Dropdown - When a bike on the dropdown is selected, it will be indicated on the map and the information bar.
(4) Logout Button (5) Information Bar - Shows information about the selected bike. Pressing on the Bike ID
will open up the Bike Details page. Pressing on the User will open the User Details page. (6) Bike Map Legend - Pin colors indicate the state of each bike. (7) Show Geoblocks - When selected, all GeoBlocks are shown on the map.
(8) Selected Bikeshare - If your account is connected to multiple bike shares, click this dropdown to select another bike share that you have access to.
Fleet Bicycles Summary page
All Bikes in the selected Fleet will be shown on the Bicycles page with all current details and Warnings visible. Click on any Bicycle to bring up a ‘Summary’ panel for that Bike. The Summary Panel allows Administrators to update and view all details for that Bike including:
Current status, Alerts, Battery condition, and Firmware installed.
Set, or reset the Bicycle Number, Vehicle Id, Status, and Geoblocks (For more
information on Geoblocks, see page 47; for Bike numbers, see page 12.)
Recent activity, Rides, Network connections, and location (Scroll down to view
maps and graphics showing location data.)
Note: Use the button to save changes.
Note: Activate the Bulk Commands dialogue box with the button.
(1) Bike ID Column - This column presents all the Bike ID’s registered with your merchant. The list can be sorted with the button to the right of the “Bike ID” button.
(2) Bike Battery - This column presents the current battery of the bike. The list can be sorted with the button to the right of the “Battery” button.
(3) Status - This column presents the current status of the bike.
(4) User - This column presents the user's email if available and the User ID if the email is not available. This column can be sorted with the button to the right of the “Activity Date” button.
(5) Activity Date - This column presents the date of the ride. The list can be sorted with the button to the right of “Activity Date”.
(6) Filter Control - Allows you to control the data presented between any two dates. (7) Search Bar - This search bar searches the Bike ID and User column.
Bulk Commands
The Bulk Commands panel allows Users to either lock/unlock, or set the service state for bikes in the Fleet with one command. This command my be used for a filtered list of bikes, or all bikes in the Fleet.
To create a filtered list of bikes use the ‘Filter’ button and then access the Bulk Commands dialogue box with the button in the Bicycles Summary page.
Bicycles Details Page
From Bicycles Tab, click on a Bicycle to bring up a Summary page. Use the Bicycle Summary to:
Add or change a lock Bicycle Number (For more info on Bike Numbers, go to: page 12 .)
Adjust Service Status.
Set ‘Lost/Not Lost’ status.
Enter a Vehicle Id.
Assign Geo Blocks. (For more information on Geoblocks go to page 47.)
Access the Remote Commands with the button. See page 40..
View full information on the bike, the lock, and past activity and location data. Note: Use the Icon to save changes.
Activities Panel
The Activities Panel shows Bicycle History. Click on the Google Geolocation Link to see that location in Google Maps.
Tracking History Panel
This panel shows recent location data in a Maps View and graphical displays that may be filtered by date – Use the sliders to adjust the date range.
Recovery Mode
Activate Recovery Mode for bikes left outside of the intended operating area and need to be returned. Note: With Recovery Mode active, the Bike is unavailable for rental, but maintains an active 4G/LTE connection at all times. This allows remote commands, such as remote siren or GPS pings to the lock so that it may be more easily located and retrieved. Activate Recovery Mode via the Remote Commands dialog box on the Bicycle Summary page.
Schedule Remote Commands
Use the Remote Commands window to remotely:
Lock/Unlock a bike.
Switch on the Siren for 10 seconds.
Generate a GPS location.
Send the nearest 4G/LTE tower
location. Note: Towers might be as
much as 1 km from the Lock/Bike.
Place Bikes in Recovery Mode – For
lost or misplaced bikes.
Update Lock Firmware over the
network.
Unpair a SmartMotion Key
From the Bicycles Tab, select a Bike and open the Bicycle summary panel.
Click the icon in the to bring up Remote Commands panel for that Bike. Note: For Bikes not currently connected to the network, commands are saved and implemented on the next network connection.
Users Tab
This Tab shows all Riders associated with the selected Fleet and includes their details. Also, it allows administrators to add or remove Riders from a Restricted Rider list.
User Restrictions are used to allow only listed Users access to a Restricted Fleet – Adding a ‘Restriction’ means adding the Rider to a Restricted list of Riders. Click the ‘Add Restriction’ Button to enter an email
address to a list of Riders. Use the ‘Remove’ button to remove a selected Rider
from the List.
Note: Users/Riders are primarily identified by their email address in Fleetview.
Click on any User to see or update User information, including:
User name, phone number, email address, financial info, and recent activity.
(1) User Column - Displays the name of the user. This column can be sorted (2) Total Rides - Presents the total number of rides that the user has completed under your
merchant.
(3) Phone - If available, the user's phone number will be presented.
(4) Email - If available, the user’s email will be presented.
(5) Last Active - The last time the user was active on the merchant system.
(6) Member Since - The date the user created their account.
(7) Add User Restriction - Allows you to inhibit specific emails from renting a bike on your system.
(8) Remove User Restriction - Allows you to provide access to an email you previously inhibited from using.
The Rides Tab
Use the Rides Tab to view current and past activity of all Bike, including:
An Ongoing Rides list.
A Completed Rides list with a graphical
output.
Individual Ride data including: Location
– Fares paid – Route information and Start/End points – Click on a ride to see details and map.
Download Reports filtered by User,
Rides or locks in CSV format from the
Reports button – Use the drop-down to filter results.
(1) Choose Bike - This allows you to choose specific bikes to see their ride history. You can also see the total number of rides per day across all bikes.
(2) Number of Rides Graph - Graph with Ride data per day.
(3) Data Table - Data for each ride including the Bike ID, Date of Ride, Duration of the ride and the charged fare.
Click on any ride to see details:
(1) Bike ID - The bike id of the lock used on this trip (2) Trip User - The user who took the trip (3) Trip Date - The date the trip started (4) Total Ride Time - the duration of the trip
(5) Distance - Distance between the starting location and the ending location (6) Fare - The cost of the trip (7) Map - A map detailing where the lock went
Rides History
Use the Rides History drop down to select a Bike – a graphical interface displays the information. Use the Blue Slider to edit the time range shown in the display.
Click on any Ride to see full details, including:
Total Ride time Distance Fare paid
Reports
From the Rides Tab, click the ‘Reports’ button to save a CSV file from a selected data type.
The Maintenance Tab
Use the Maintenance Tab to view all Maintenance Issues associated with the Fleet. The Maintenance Tab allows ‘Admins’ and ‘Techs’ to:
See all new or pending issues
Mark pending issues as closed when resolved
See maintenance history
Add a maintenance Issue
(1) User - The user that submitted the issue.
(2) Bike ID - The ID of the bike that had an associated issue reported.
(3) Issue - Provides details about the issue with the bike or lock.
(4) Status - Displays the current status of the reported issue (Submitted, In progress, Resolved).
(5) Submitted Time - Displays the time the issue was reported.
(6) Resolved Time - If the issue has been resolved, this column displays the time the issue was resolved. If an issue has not been resolved yet, no date will appear in this column.
(7) Update States - Provides a drop-down menu to update the status of the issue if it has not yet been resolved.
(8) Report Issue - Once pressed, a pop-up window appears asking you to identify the bike ID with the issue and allows you to add a description of the issue.
The Alerts Tab
The Alerts Tab allows Users to view all recent and past Alerts sorted by:

Reservations Tab (Beta)
All Reservations are made only through the Fleetview Reservations Page, where all reservations are visible and can be edited. At present, the end user cannot create a reservation for themselves.
To create a reservation, go to:
Reservations > Add Reservation dialog Box
Adding a Reservation
Click the ‘Add Reservation’ button.
Enter details including email address, times, etc.
The User will receive a confirmation email.
Click on a Reservation to edit details and save.
(1) Bike ID - The bike ID for the reservation
(2) Renter’s Name - The name of the individual to whom the reservation is associated.
(3) Date of Rental
(4) Time of the reservation
(5) Duration - The duration of the reservation.
(6) Status - The current status of the rental (Rented, On Schedule).
(7) Add Reservation - Once pressed, a pop-up window displays allowing you to put in the information for a future reservation.
(8) List View/Calander View Switch - This switch allows you to change the reservations view from a list to a calendar and vice-versa.
Ride Tracking
With Ride Tracking active, unlocked and moving Bikes will connect via 4G LTE and record: geo-coordinates, battery SoC (%), device status, speed, and direction. This data will be transmitted to the servers every 10 seconds. Should the Bike stop moving and remain unlocked for some minutes, Ride Tracking will stop until movement resumes. Note: Ride Tracking is available in: Eco, Mid, High and Performance Modes only.
The GeoBlocks Tab
GeoBlocks allow Fleet Operators to define specific drop-off areas where Riders are permitted to end a ride. Use the GeoBlocks panel to: Add new Blocks, and edit, rename or delete existing Blocks. ,
Adding a new Geo Block
In the Geo Blocks Tab:
On the map, go to the location of the new Block.
Click the ‘New’ button.
Drag the new Block approximately into
position.
Click anywhere on a boarder line to add a
Handle/Corner.
UseHandlestoadjusttheshapeoftheGeo
Blocks to exact proportions and position.
Add a new name in the field provided and
Click ‘Save.’
Note: In most cases, phone geolocation data is only accurate to about 20 meters, accordingly the minimum practical size of a GeoBlock is about 20 square meters.
(1) Geo Block - This is the region where locks can be locked and unlocked. If a user unlocks a bike within this region and then bikes outside this region, they will be unable to lock the bike back up until they move back into a geo-block. From the 8 control circles on the geo block, you can control the size and geometry of it.
(2) GeoBlocks - This list shows all the Geo Blocks associated with your merchant. You can have as many geo blocks as you want. They can be located anywhere and do not have to be touching.
(3) New Geo Block - To create a new Geo Block press type a name in and press new. You will then be able to move this geo block wherever.
Permissions Tab
The Permissions Sub Tab allows Users to add Admins, Users, and Viewers, and grant ‘Permissions’ according to need and organizational role.
Permissions are defined in the following terms:

View all, but only make changes to Maintenance issues

Access to Default Lock Settings
(1) Name - The name of the individual with a certain level of permissions for your merchant on Fleetview.
(2) Email - The email of the permissible individual. (3) Permission - The permission allowed to the individual.
(4) Edit - This column allows you to control the permissions of a individual. You can make an operator an administrator, a maintenance operator, or a viewer.
(5) Add User - When pressed, this button presents a pop-up that allows you to add another permissible individual.
Account Information Panel
Panel shows primary Account Information as set up by LINKA for the Fleet. Information includes:
Home Location – as matched in Google Maps** API Key* Secret Key* Merchant ID
AccessToken Access Token Expiration Date FirmwareVersion
*Note: The ‘‘Secret Code’ allows users to authenticate the API along with the API Key – acting, in some sense, like a username and password for the API.
(1) Payment - This row displays weather payments are enabled or not. (2) Payments Mode - If otherwise configured this will read live. If you have a test payment
service set up, then this may say test (as it does here). (3) Current Home Location - The location where your bike share is centered.
(4) Account Information Control - In this section your are given the ability to control some of the user-facing aspects of your merchant. You are able to see your Logo, Icon, and Waiver but it can not be changed through Fleetview at this time.
Leo and IoT communications Tab
Use this panel to set: Fleet Mode, Ride Tracking, Auto Lock, Siren and the Sleep timer settings.

Account Information Tab
Settings > System Settings> Account Settings
In the Account Information Tab, Users may set or activate many of the primary options
and settings for the Fleet. Use the Info Icon for an explanation of each. A full list
of available fields is listed on the opposite page. Note: It is important to save changes.

Uploading a Logo and Icon
The Icon and Logo fields in the Account Information Tab, allow Users to upload the graphics that appear in the LINKA GO App when searching for, and using, the Fleet associated with them. Most non-vector file types are accepted. (PNG, jpg, etc.)
Alert Notification Tab
Use this panel to set Alert values. Touch the Info button for a description and information on each Setting.

Note: A ‘stall’ is detected when the Lock fails to close or open for some internal reason, indicating some maintenance may be required. This is not the same as a failure due to a blockage, like a spoke preventing the Lock shank from closing, in which case the Lock will auto-retract the shank.
