LINKA GO allows you to customize certain features within the LINKA GO app. Users will still download the LINKA GO app from the App Store or Play Store, and they will still see the LINKA GO app on their phone’s home screen.
Your fleet’s logo can be displayed on the login page, as well as on the app side menu.
The fleet name can be changed to match your company. This allows users to recognize the bikeshare they are accessing when they first download the LINKA GO app. In addition, a square icon is shown to the left of the fleet name. This square icon can be customized to match your fleet’s branding.
The primary color of icons and UI elements in the app can be customized to match your company’s branding.
The icon representing each bike in your fleet can be customized. Different bikes in your fleet can be represented with different icons on the map. See this example below of a custom icon on the map.
The user agreement can be customized. The user should accept the user agreement before starting their rental.
The email address displayed in the LINKA GO app when the user presses the “Contact Us” option can be changed to match your company’s support email.
An announcement can be displayed in the LINKA GO app (1). The text of this announcement can be configured in Fleetview.

Sleep timer
The device must be awake in order for the app to be able to connect to the device to unlock it. By default, the device will automatically go to sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity. The sleep timer can be adjusted in Fleetview in the following ways: The sleep timer can be lowered, in which case the device will enter sleep mode more quickly. This will affect user experience such that the user will be required to press the power button more often to wake up the device. Alternatively, the sleep timer can be increased, so the device will be awake for a longer amount of time before entering sleep mode. If the device is awake, then the user will not be required to press the power button on the device when they start their rental.
LEO Tracking Settings
The LINKA LEO and LEO 2 come with built-in GPS and cellular capabilities. This allows the lock to update its location remotely even when a mobile phone is not present. By default, the Power Modes are set to “MID”, which includes the following configuration: State Change Ping Period Ping Theft Tracking

Usage with Smart Fob
The Smart Fob allows a user to lock and unlock a device even when a mobile phone is not present. A Smart Fob can be used even while a user is on a LINKA GO rental. The Smart Fob can only be set up using the Operator app by a fleet operations personnel, and cannot be set up by a user. For more information, see the Smart Fob documentation.
Usage with Tethersense
The LEO 2 device can be used with a Tethersense chain or cable. This allows the bike to be fixed to a bike rack. When a Tethersense chain or cable is plugged into a LEO 2 device, the LEO 2 will automatically begin locking. For more information, see the Tethersense documentation.
In addition to the customizations available on LINKA GO, a custom whitelabel app will provide additional customizations below. Reach out to your LINKA Fleets Representative to inquire about the custom whitelabel apps.
Your app will show up on the App Store for iPhone devices, and the Google Play Store for Android devices.
The following customizations are required for an App Store listing:
App Logo - Square Icon
App Name - Up to 30 characters
App Short Description - Less than 80 characters
App Long Description - Up to 4000 characters
In addition to an App Store presence, a custom whitelabel app can show up on the user’s phone home screen.
Once the user has downloaded the whitelabel app, the following branding will be included as part of the whitelabel:
The splash screen is displayed each time the user opens the app.
Inside a LINKA GO app, users will be able to see other fleets that are nearby, and will need to select your specific fleet after they open LINKA GO. For a whitelabel app, only your company’s fleet will be visible inside the app, and users will not see other fleets show up.
Custom features can also be developed as part of the whitelabel app. Examples of custom features can include:
Changes to app login flow, user flow, or rental flow. This includes adding or removing screens from the generic LINKA Go app.
Payment integration with a custom payment processor
Ability to take a photo of a bike after a rental is completed
Custom language translations

By default, the siren is disabled for LINKA GO usage. If enabled, the LINKA device will sound a siren whenever it is locked and movement is detected. The siren will automatically turn off after a period of time if movement stops. The siren configuration can be set on Fleetview. For more information, please consult the

The LINKA SDK is a native Android and native iOS SDK that allows you to control LINKA devices using your own mobile application. If your company has a team of mobile developers, or you require a significant amount of custom functionality with your fleet, the SDK may be more appropriate than LINKA GO or the Custom Whitelabel.
